IF missed: 'Blanket' for Bobby Long

This was supposed to be my submission for last week's topic on illustration friday. The topic was blanket. Unfortunately I missed the deadline. So here it is. Though it's a fairly literal interpretation I like this illustration because of the phrase that inspired it. "The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter" is a book that figures prominently in the film "A Love Song For Bobby Long" . It is definitely one of my favourite films and amazes me with its eloquence each time I watch it. So this is for Bobby Long.

IF: 'Choose'

I think I often feel pressured to choose one thing from the other, when making a choice is the last thing I want to do. Because by making a choice you inevitably leave something out. And sometimes - not always - that's not what you want.

The topic for this week's illustration on illustration friday was 'choose'. This particular illustration is quite an old one and figures in a post on my other blog. It might provide answers as to why I 'chose' this illustration for 'choose'.
